I don't know what came over me when I made this quilt top but it's the ugliest thing I've ever made!!! I must have had my eyes closed while I was putting it together!! It's so ugly I never finished it and I don't think I ever will!!

Who else has an ugly quilt they would like to share?!!

It's not that bad. Finish it up and donate it. I'm sure that someone along the way will love it!!!

When I looked at the quilt I immediately thought of pioneer women and how they may have put together a quilt for their log cabin homes. They used what they had. I do not think of it as ugly, but a historical copy of days gone by. I would finish it and make it into a blanket rather than a quilt to use over a blanket (if you still think it is ugly.) I would use the solid green you have used in the quilt already and then add a wide dark brown border to frame it. I hope you do not give up on this quilt. I like it.

You could always make a cat or dog bed from them. I plan on making a few with my scraps and donating them to the local Animal center.

or...how about that twister ruler...I bet that would make it look awesome. I have not tried it but many here have.

It's not that bad!! If you don't like it then finish it and donate it to a homeless shelter.

I'll share, lol. This is for my boys, and instead of planning, I just picked out lots of 'boy' fabrics and this is how it turned out.

It's fitting, though, b/c it's loud and scrappy, just like them!
