I'm pretty sure it's April Fool's Day, because this can't possibly be a kit!!!!

I love how bright it is. I know my girls would also love it... I am sure it would find many many tea parties given on it... :)

I need to go finish this giggling...
You are to be COMMENDED for actually getting the quilt top completed. And, I know it will get loved to death.... can't you just see it in a drab hospital room? They NEED it ... if I didn't feel good, I'll bet that quilt would cure me or ....
anyway <g> I don't think the quilt is ugly ... it is bright, but that doesn't make it ugly. Have you considered running down the person who cut the kit? I would really want to know where they were so you can keep an eye on them.
The quilt isn't ugly ... uh ... I have a box of pink fabric, did you want that to add to it? Lucky you ... I do not own any of that green, though I do like granny smith apple green ...
Wait until the skies are gray, and you will see that your quilt is JUST what the DR ordered to brighten the day and make you feel all warm and cuddly. What are you putting on the back?
I mean ... there are two sides to a quilt, eh?? LOL

I bought this kit online -- now I know why it was so inexpensive and they didn't show the fabrics clearly -- Live and learn.

This is what was sent for the backing. I think if I woke up to this in a hospital room, I'd want the barf pan ready....

WARNING: This picture is not for weak of heart!

oh, my!
I was expecting something that totally didn't fit into the plan ... however, I see they managed to add insult to injury!
Thanks for the warning ... I grabbed my inhaler and am now checking my pulse.
Nope! my heart is still beating ... I must be okay <g>
Well, well, well .... this is all very interesting ... and, we have learned from this???
As long as we learned something, the event was not a total waste...
better a cheap quilt kit than say ... oh, I don't know ... social engineering?
YOu can see! Your quilt has brought the best out in me<g>.
I don't know what I would do with the backing, but I do not think I would put it on the back of your bright quilt ... if you take and cut it into strips and then add some turquoise, it might be a great part of another "tweens quilt" ... do you think? <g>

Oh dear, i Did think it was ok, til i saw the back! Oh my gosh, i can see a pretty pink floral on the back would have been real nice, but that, what were they thinking. Have you written them and given them crap? I would be asking for my money back, or threatening to spread their name all over the internet and what they did. Oh gosh, sorry, guess i'm not helping you feel better? lol

I am guessing that the backing is actually the same shade of pink as the pattern that is on the front that has the same black ... uh ... what are they?
On the front, I saw the cat pieces and thought, 'Oh! those must be cat tails"
however, now that I have seen the back ... well, they don't exactly look like catepillars ... hmmm...
sweet mystery of life! Just think! Could it be a message of some kind?

There is an orange piece in the quilt with the same pattern as the pink back. I THINK it supposed to mimic a tiger's stripe???? And yes, the pink back "matches" the pink in the kitty fabric. But I'm not sure what the orange and pukey green match....
