Default Under the Sea

Each summer my friend and I pick a theme to do when I visit her at her Lake Hse.
This yr it was "under the sea"...
This is my version, just needs a few embellishments, binding or facing.
I used all diff types of yarns for seaweed on left for 3D. We shared fabrics with fish, seashells to cut out for applique. I have an emb machine so i made my own patch applique, divers, swimmers, chest, turtles, fish, seahorse.

She did a 3 panel scene and belongs to bd and will post photo's when she's done...

What an awesome and creative quilt...looks like it was a fun project. I will keep my eyes open for hers too.

I think you both must have a lot of fun with this project. Planning it, creating it, and sharing it. I hope you are pleased and love it. I have really enjoyed seeing it!
