Beautiful !! I love your border and sashings. Wish I had thought of that when I made my top (which is now a UFO, unfortunately). Your piecing is perfect.

You should feel blessed by the luv you will always get back from hubby.
Maybe becasue it is of an older era fabrics, you should try hand quilting with over-all pattern of Baptist Fan, its half circles and would compliment all those beautiful blocks

You did a wonderful job on your URR quilt! The colors are so complimentary of each other. The dresdan plate is beautiful and I reallly like the way you made the sashing and the borders. The backing is perfect for this as well. Beautiful!
