Default "Unknown Intruder" FINISHED!

This panel was SO much fun to do!

The panel name is "Unknown Intruder". I bought it at fabric.com. They've since sold out of this panel, but have replaced it with one of the same name, but a different scene. I am so happy with how this turned out and we're going to have one happy GS! He's nearly 19 and a hunter.

I've put a sleeve on the back to hang this with, since it's smaller than I'd like for a lap quilt for a man, at a finished size of about 40" X 48".

I did some things I haven't done in quilting yet, such as the smaller stippling at top center of the panel, trapunto on the deer, tree trunk on the left, pine on the right and the grass at deer's feet. Still have some improving to do, but overall pretty satisfied with how it turned out!

Thanks for looking.
Helen

How neat!!

But when I read the topic title, Unknown Intruder, the first thing I thought of was the dang mouse I have in my house; and I was wondering how and why anybody would want to make a mouse quilt, ha ha!
