Default Up North

Wanted to share the queen size quilt I made December 2012. It is my first bona fide scrappy. It is a Thimbleberries pattern entitled "Up North" I had to add two additional rows to make it wide enough. A special thanks to JenniePenny who was my personal cheerleader and mentor through the process. She even was kind enough to send me some fabric to include if I wished. Needless to say, the warmth of her friendship made the quilt even more cozy and memorable to me. The fabric I had leftover from this project I turned into a large lap quilt. I will post when it comes back from the LAQ, who also did this quilt. She is a local lady named Betty Sue who I think did a lovely job. Thanks for looking.

Beautiful quilt. It is so nice to hear about the encouragement your friend gave you to continue your quilt and finish it.
