Oh they are beautiful - much more sturdy than an average cotton purse.

Those are really nice. I bought a bag made out of that material years ago, still use it, they last forever!

very nice... i too use upholstry sample for bags.. it's much more fun than "yardage"..great job..

Did you use a commercial pattern or make one up by yourself? Good job on all, but my favorite is the tan and turquoise. Need my address?

I have lots of these samples from my day job in a furniture store. Been collecting them for a couple years, much to my husband's dismay. He works in the same store and it was really difficult to get them out without his noticing but I managed. I have some leather samples too. Bet they would work well for this. Did you use any lining or batting?
