I love this little bookkeeper that I first saw on the Moda Bake Shop website. I made one for a friend's kindle and then I thought with a few small adjustments to the pattern, it would be perfect to make to store my Weight Watcher books, logs and flyers.

I have blogged about the bookkeeper and the adjustments for the Weight Watcher books here.

That is a great idea and you did a wonderful job on it.
WW has so many booklets and stuff, you need a place for it all.

What a great idea. And so colorful and pretty. Much nicer than the ones they sell.

And I've started and restarted so many times, it's shameful. And each time is a different set of books and pamphlets. What a great way to used small pieces. Good job.

What a sweet holder. Love the striping(sp) pattern.

So, has WW been successful at all and what about maintenance? Just curious.

I'm a WW lifetime member from way back. But over the years, the weight came back on and I guess you could call me a yoyo dieter. I rejoined WW at the beginning of August. I was true to the program for about 6 weeks. I logged everything I ate in the tracking book. I attended the meetings. I tried the recipes. I discussed strategies with my WW leader.

After 6 weeks I lost about 8 pounds. It seemed to go off slow, but all of a sudden, I was fitting into some pants that I got on sale the year before and all my clothes were just a bit more comfortable to wear, ie: not so tight. I was amazed. After the first 6 weeks,i I relaxed a bit and didn't track the food in the log but I was watching what I ate and counted points in my head. I just go once a month to get weighed and I now have lost a total of 15 lbs.

On the internet, there are lots of free resources like electronic point tracking spreadsheets, ww recipes with point values etc.

So the bottom line is, it worked for me, but it comes off slowly.

I was thinking of trying to take off another 5 lbs by taking the log out and start to track again, even if it's for a month.
