Wonderful quilt! It looks like lots love and care went into it. I really love URR's. Would love to see it when it's done.

The Underground Railroad has a history with it that had to do with slavery,and how certain quilts were hung as "signals" to the slaves that there was a safe place where the quilt hung. The different blocks represent different signals,,,you can Google the history and legend. It seems there is a debate over whether it is fact or fiction or a combination,but it's interesting...
