Those were some of my thoughts about sashing, too. I think white could be nice if your main colors read "crisp". But if they run more "country", a golden beige might be nice. This is just a wonderful topper & it looks great on your table! Is this the pattern she makes from a layer cake?

Looks wonderful, for the Christmas one, gold sounds good, or a white or cream background with a scattered holly print

If you go to www.quiltinaday.com and click on free videos it'll bring up different series. Summer porch is under "quilts through the seasons". It's an easy quilt with a lot of possibilities.

Thanks. In her video she used fat quarters which I think may have been from a collection.
