Default Hippie love beads/stack and whack wip

I've been way too busy with work, can't seem to get much quilting done. I've finished up the stack and whack blocks, now I'm working on getting the blocks set together. Can't decide yet what to do for side setting triangles, it'll come to me. This is a going to be one brilliant psychedelic quilt, that's why I named it Hippie Love Beads.

Nope, not enough of the wacked fabric and not enough of the solids either. I didn't plan this one very well, just went with what I had on hand. I did make little 3 inch stacked squares from the cutaways from the big blocks, I may try to incorporate them into the setting triangle.

Love it just the way you have it laid out! Really does look like one of those swingy bead curtains from the 60s!!! Maybe go on and do the triangles from the black to carry out the theme of the edges being the edge of the doorway.

WOW the black backing really sets off those blocks wonderfully.

I think so, too... that's probably what I'd use for setting blocks. I can't wait to see this groovy quilt done!
