    This is a quilt I made for my sister Joni..she was really into purple at the time. The fun part is I only knew what the block looked like, had no idea of the total pattern it would make

    That is neat looking! That gold fabric sure does pop. Is it cotton or something else?

    the gold was lame (not sure of the spelling) I don't like working with it, it unravels and is hard to sew with but it looked so great on the quilt I had to use it

    I like how the gold lame border makes the the gold color in the quilt sparkle.
