Default Valentine Table Runner & Topper

This block pattern is from the Feb-Mar 2013 issue of The Quilter. The quilt is on the cover. I thought the block was cute but did not want to make a quilt so I made a table runner and topper using the block pattern. The quilt had the hearts placed in the same direction but I decided to change it up a little. My fmq is not the best but I am learning. The topper is still not quilted, maybe I will get that done by next year. The runner is 14x62 inches and the topper is 26 inches square.

That is beautiful. Had that magazine sitting on my sewing for about two weeks now. Made a different to use that was much easier and faster since I have been under the weather. But plan on making it for a gift. Thanks for sharing.
