A few weeks ago, i posted a notice that i was asked to make 10 baby quilts. Many generous quilters came to my aid and sent me their extra Baby Print fabrics. Since Memorial Day i have been working to complete this project. Below are the ones done so far and i wanted to THANK everyone who helped with this. These quilts are for the University of Rochester Medical Center Pediatric Dept. And no matter who the nurses give these out to, you all have have helped put a smile on some deserving "little faces" I could not have done this with out you!!!! Quilters are by far THE BEST!

Beautiful quilts! As the grandmother of a special needs grandson who spent many, many, months in the hospital in his six precious years, I know how much these items are appreciated. The bring a bright spot into a very dark place.

Bless you! Those are so adorable.

When I had my first child, I became friends with my roommate. She admitted she didn't have a bed to put the baby in --- her husband had told her a drawer would be good enough for the child. He decided to move to California (from Oregon) one day and came to get her and the baby. In those days we stayed in the hospital 3 days -- he wanted to leave one day after she gave birth. The look on her face when he came in and told her, and brought the "blanket" for the baby is still seared in my head. He brought a TOWEL for that child. I lost touch with her but I've worried about her all these years. Hopefully, what you've done will put some light in some poor woman's life.
