Thank you all for the kinds words. Someone very dear to me told me a long time ago that if you do things for those you don't even know, your life will be blessed. And mine has been many times over! Not monetarily, but in happy and healthy grandbabies. A great Husband, the best hobby there is!! And now with friends here!!!!!!!

When I had my first child, I became friends with my roommate. She admitted she didn't have a bed to put the baby in --- her husband had told her a drawer would be good enough for the child. He decided to move to California (from Oregon) one day and came to get her and the baby. In those days we stayed in the hospital 3 days -- he wanted to leave one day after she gave birth. The look on her face when he came in and told her, and brought the "blanket" for the baby is still seared in my head. He brought a TOWEL for that child. I lost touch with her but I've worried about her all these years. Hopefully, what you've done will put some light in some poor woman's life.
A large thank you to each member who helped SuziC. That is very special and the quilts are very pretty and nice. Any child would be happy to have one of them.
Thank God for each man that does not abuse his wife and children and may the ones who do abuse suffer for their decisions./Regards, Dorothy
