What a thoughtful gift and beautiful gift for your friend. Surely one she will treasure and hold dear, especially during this difficult time in her life...48 years is something to be admired these days.

The floral theme and adding the birds in the quilting is a beautiful and thoughtful way of honoring their morning ritual.
