I did this for a fellow QB member and it actually belongs to a friend of hers. The friend's late mother made it, and now they will have a finished quilt to remember her by.
It was like a trip down memory lane seeing all the "vintage" fabrics in the top.

Sorry the pics are not that great, camera batteries were about to die as usual.

Very Pretty! A nice alternative color choice than the usual light colors although its tough to choose which colorway is prettier. :thumbup: :thumbup:

It's really scrappy, I am old enough to remember the days when we didn't have all these color-coordinated fabric lines. You just used what you could.

It is all hand pieced too - not something I would ever consider!
