Default Vintage pillow

My cousin asked me to repurpose a skirt that her mom made and embellished with crewel embroidery in 1974. A year after she sent it to me I finally got around to it. She received it yesterday and placed it in her guest room. Yes she loved it

I'm glad you and your cousin wanted to save the memories of her mother/your aunt. Your pillow is the perfect project to showcase her talent in crewel.

My Aunt and my mom were lifelong best friends even before my aunt married my moms’ brother. She was full of fun and a favorite of mine. She lived into her 80s....towards the end, she had dementia...my Mom passed prior to my aunts’ passing. My cousin did not let her know about my Mom passing.....she wanted to spare her. I understood why. They lived 4 hours apart. Miss them both terribly.

thanks for the great comments.
