Great finish, Pam! It's got too much history to let it go to waste. Very cute quilt.

Hi Pam, I loved watching this come together. I was sitting nearby at the retreat! Small world!

A friend of my mother's who is 95 now and her friend was much older back then gave me a sunbonnet sue quilt as she didn't want her son to have it.............I didn't want to know why so didn't ask. I, like a dummy, washed it and the quilt frayed in all sorts of areas. The blocks themselves are still in tack but the green sashing is shot. I've just kept it in the closet after that happened meaning to fix it some day but I know looking for that particular green fabric will be almost impossible. Probably should pull it out and see what all needs fixed as sunbonnet sue's are classics. Thanks for reminding me about it.

Great vintage quilt! So appropriate pattern for flour sacks…. I have a stack from hubbies grandma that I just can’t make myself cut up. Lol..
