Yesterday had a sewing day with friends...our 3rd one this year...first was on January 1, then another one later in January, and I finally yesterday finished my pioneer braid top...though I might add a border. Picture shows mine on the bottom right, and my friends still in progress above it. It was fun to make, but lots of starting and stopping of seams.

ohhhh I love it. Was it hard to do? I've done a small wall hanging in the braid but that's been 15 yrs ago or so.....

how do the rows go together? Do you have to even them up before you sew them together?

I have done the friendship braid and liked that, but am not familar with the Pioneer Braid. Can you tell me how you did this, was it done in strips and sewn together? It is different and wish you help clear up the 'mystery' for me.

I really, really like this pattern. Love both quilts. Would like to know where to find the pattern or instructions. Looks like a grand way to use up a lot of scraps-one of my favorite things.

This is a great quilt. I'm going to join the others who have asked for instructions on how to do this. Please share this info. Thanks.
