Its beautiful . Black and brown is such a classic combo of colors. Great job on all that SID.

Yes, it does look like "Lover's Knot"; however, with this pattern (Wackey Rails) the blockes are pieced then cut apart and pieced again. The book has several different layouts for the finished block. I really liked the way Linda put hers together.

Yes, it does have a name. " Wackey Rails " a pamplet that was popular about 4 or 5 years ago. I purchased the book from a quilt shop that is now no longer in business. I made a pink and green quilt from the pattern and sent that quilt to the Joplin, Mo. area last fall to be donated to the tornatoe victims. Right after I finished the quilt I gave my pattern away, knowing I would never make it again. Wish I could remember the name of the designer. It might be located by googling the web for it (?)
