Thank you fellow quilters. I am enjoying it on my bed now. I just have a very little bit of the Aunt Gracies left now and I need to finish this line of fabrics. I am not buying fabric at all, just using up what I have, even for the backing.....

Just for you information. I found the block in Block Base, under, none square blocks, and then Hexagonal. It is #272 and the name is Endless Chain. For those of you who would like to make it and you have BB. You can print out the size you want.

I just made this exact same quiltfor my family reunion but my pattern was called kaliedeoscope. My finished hexes were 8 inches, all hand sewn. I did not want to bind all those wedge points, even with bias binding,it would take tooooo long. So, I squared off all the edges, and added a 6 inch border. The relative who won the quilt had seen one similar to mine, so she wasthrilled when she won it.
