The quilt pattern is called "A Walk in the Woods", from Sunset Silhouette Designs in Omak, WA. It's available as a kit, a pattern, and they also have the ultrasuede available separately. Just know there is LOTS AND LOTS of cutting the applique on this baby!!

I used the wrong kind of fusable, and had to stitch down all the applique when I was quilting the quilt. It actually went real well, and I'll do the same thing on the next quilt - Karrie graduates this year and her quilt is from the same company. What was I thinking???

Thanks for all your encouragement!

I want to read about it, but I'm having computer trouble and can't link anywhere! But, I love your quilt! It's really nice. If I get this darn thing fixed, I'll come back and read your blog - probably a greeat story!

The quilt is absolutely amazing and I am very happy you shared it with us, but I have one question. Is that your sewing room? I have not seem pics of it before. Can we see what is behind the quilt?

Wonderful quilt. Is it a king size? It is huge. How much fabric in it?

It's 92 x 100 something - big. I bought it as a kit, plus I bought more to make pillow shams to go with it, so I don't know how much fabric. When there is ultra suede involved, it's nice to have the kit - some of the pieces only needed a little bit.
