What an inspiration you are! Those both turned out fantastic. Very clever use of hombre! I have a couple pieces in my stash and this gives me some ideas to use them.

Did you use a metallic thread on the hombre?

Thanks . I'd love to see what you do with the hombre; it has so much potential! The thread I used on the black/grey one was a medium blue color of Magnifico by Superior Threads, and the thread on the blue one is white Magnifico. It's a poly thread with a nice sheen. I like using it a lot, and have it in dozens of colors. Magnifico is very similar to Glide thread by the way.

OMG! Fantastic quilting. I never imagined you could do that with your walking foot. I bought the Creative Quilting with Your Walking Foot & Next Step with Your Walking Foot courses from Craftsy. Anxious to get started after seeing your work.

I am amazed at what you accomplished with just a walking foot. I am encouraged too to try it myself, being as my last day of trying to FMQ a large wall hanging was frustration +. Nothing was going right, from the stitching black on black lines, or bobbin wound badly, or just plain bad coordination last evening. Better luck today is in order. Or, better precision.
