Using your word "cheapo" equals wrinkle-o because the other fabric is heavier and its weight is pulling el-cheapo therefore making it wrinkle. You get what you pay for. Why use inferior fabric in something as nice as this? Just my thoughts...GG

GiGi,

I soooo wish I would have known back when I made this wall quilt that broadcloth was a big no no. ughhhhhhh I taught myself how to quilt so I was clueless. Live and learn. I was and still am kind of new to quilting, but have learned now that it pays to stick with the better quality fabrics. Not saying broadcloth is bad for everything, but obviously not for quilting :thumbdown:
