I was bored this morning so I started playing around some scraps and came up with this block.
Can you guess what block this is?? I will give a second clue later if no one can guess what it is.

That looks like Anita's Arrowhead from Quiltmaker magazine. My daughter is making a Christmas version. She is having a lot of fun with it.

Ok I am back. I was trying to get some cleaning done but little man doesn't want to clean up his toys so I can vaccum (SP?).

    Norbananaquilts got it right.
It is D4P cut like an hour glass design.

this is what I started with

You ARE going to do a tutorial, right!!?? Hint, hint!  I love how it turned out!! I also love the colors you used. I looking forward to seeing pictures of your quilt that uses these fabrics when you finish it.

I wasn't planning on it. Really don't think I have time. It is very basic block. Just look at the pic's on the last page and anyone can see how easy it is. If you can do a disappearing 4 patch then you can do this block. Easy as making instant pudding. LOL!!
    BTW Thank you!!

I made a table topper with Christmas fabrics and the bias edges drove me nuts! If the fabrics is REALLY starched it behaves OK, but the fabric I used was sparkly and turned out stretchy.
