My friend Elayne just started making organic pet biscuits/treats and wanted some items to go along with them when she sets up her booth at school fairs, coffee shops, etc. It gave me a chance to practice. I still stink at free motion quilting, but my basic sewing skills are improving! Best of all, I'm having a blast!

If you're interested in organic biscuits, PM me! She has them for dogs, cats, horses, pigs, and more.

Those are too cute. You did a good job. Your friend might want to get a stuffed dog to put the vests on. That way they can see how they will look on. Just an idea. Thanks for sharing.

Great job on everything! They're so cute!

Did you use a pattern for the dog vests? If so, could you share the #? Thanks!

    Here you go refibered: http://www.sewing.circleofcrafters.com/freepetvestpattern.html

The vests are for Elayne's little pups. She likes to dress them up. My dachshund would be horrified to wear something like that! LOL!

Those dog vests are too cute! I printed out the pattern. Now I just have to find a reason to make it. I think I have become a "printer" junkie!! I love the tote too! Did you use a bought pattern or just "wing" it??
I know you can purchase all types of craft patterns and the totes are very popular. (guess I'll have to look before WAL MART does away with their craft depart. (Sorry to all the WM haters but it's the only store within 25 miles of us and IT's 20 away. )

Thank you Loretta (and everyone!)

Lois, here's the tote pattern. I thought it was pretty easy considering I don't "sew" much! I think sondray linked me to it. It makes a sturdy tote and I thought it was a cinch! And guess what? I used my tote bags at the grocery store today. Usually they stay in my trunk because I forget them!

Thanks so much Chele! Already printed out and ready to go! I think they would make a great Flea Market or Yard Sale project. I have some bags that we got from fairs and such but don't think to take them to the store. Never know how many I would need. I think I will make up a couple to help me remember to use them cause I sure don't need any more plastic bags!!!
