I had a dark purple print waiting for a project; and I wanted to try the Warm Wishes pattern using a dark focus fabric. Then I quilted interlocking gold fish bowls (ok, they're circles) to complete the theme. I didn't have enough of anything for the backing, so it is pieced. Note, the purple color is fairly accurate in picture #5. A close-up of the print is #6 (but the color is wrong), and the back is #7. This was my first attempt at the Warm Wishes pattern, and I'm fairly pleased with the results! So glad you ladies posted your pictures and got me inspired!

Thanks Sharon; The gold fishes print is "good stuff" but the coordinating fabrics are from "that other store."

    Thank you Littlehud & Ducky.
I must say, the purple/orange is not your typical combination in fabric. The print also has a light blue, a dark red and a pink.

    Thank you Patty48 and Gayle.
And have you ever noticed how easy it is to throw something together for a girl, but for a boy it's a different story?

I love them both, I really like that warm wishes pattern, another on my list "to do." (getting lots of those since I hooked up with this group, better live a long life)

Beautiful! And I love the fishies! All the fabrics go together so well you'd think they were all part of one line. Good job!
