Throw a couple of Color Catchers in the washer with it. I just finished one that had some dark purple in it and the color catchers did the job! No stains on the white or lavender...

It's my own design. I am considering drafting the pattern, but haven't done that yet.

Quilt is currently in the washer with a bunch of colour catchers. First round, lots of colour on the catchers, and unfortunately not all the pencil markings came out of the quilt. It's in for round 2 with fresh colour catchers just in case.

Here it is, fresh out of the dryer. Two cycles through the washer got all the pencil marks off (phew - I was a bit panicked after round one). The colour catchers are my new best friend. The second picture shows how they came out. The middle sheet has never been used. The others are from the first and second wash. Not a single bleed on the quilt, however. The washing even flattened the quilt out a bit - the borders are less wavy now then they were.
