Hi , I have been thinking of turning my wedding dress into a quilt too. It was my mother's wedding dress too. Last year during a very wet winter the dress unfortunately got some rust marks in it, which are not treatable.
so I am now considering what you have done.
Mind you it might take a while before I am brave enough to do it.

thx jane

Beautiful bride, wonderful wallhanging. Nice way to have your Grandfather with you when you got married.

I got mine outand had it on display at our 50th celebration earlier this month. I even have my shoes, 3-inch heels, pointed toes, and took them. My friends(?) made me put them on and walk in them. I did, but was afraid I'd fall and break something.

You did an amazing job! It looks wonderful. Although it's a crazy quilt, I am amazed at how different it looks from other crazy quilts, due to the fabric/color scheme. Great job!
