Default Wedding Present finished just in time!

Design is by Sue Daley - 'It Takes Two' the story behind this.... Friends of ours in South Africa - their daughter is getting married, I asked the mum what gift we could bring from here - horror , shock she said her daughter would love a quilt 2 days later the email arrived with her favorite colours - I have just finished and we leave in 2 days lol just struggling with the label of all things.
I don't understand why I have to do something I've never done before ie scalloped edges and a few other things! This is the quilt that had the pencil marks on it 2 days ago thanks to you all your help they've gone! I made place mats with the scraps for the parents - they didn't really turn out how I imaged!

Beautiful, I really like the scalloped edges. I don't think I've seen this pattern before, very nice.

Nana2 about 4 months it had to be something I could do the majority by hand as I commute between Brisbane & Sydney and don't have a machine in the latter!
