Here is the wedding quilt for my DD's BFF. Some of you provided much needed encouragement to finish it when I learned that the colors in her bedroom are maroon and brown. But I decided that I have planned this one for her using my DD's ideas of what colors she would like, and, because she love the ocean and they are being married in Ocean City, MD on the beach.

This is the largest quilt I have ever made. I used Lovers Knot by Eleanor Burns, and cut it and pieced it in 20 days. Now to get it quilted.

The colors aren't as nice in the pic, it was getting ready to rain, and on the clothes line was the only place big enough to spread it out. The second pic is so you can see the colors a little better.
There really isn't a dirt spot on the light material, it is from the Stonehenge collection and really looks like sand.

It was getting ready to rain so a little dark

See how the blue looks like sunlight reflecting on the water? No dirty spot on the light material, it is from the Stonehenge collection and really reminds one of sand. Just dark spot in pattern

That was very thoughtful of you to make a quilt for her. Let us know what she says when you explain to her why it's the color that it is. It's beautiful.
