The quilt is going to be beautiful. My suggestion would be to use that main fabric in the backing. Your orangie color would look good as a 1 inch border around the quilt and any of the others could be the outer border. I'm afraid that your main fabric will detract from the beauty of your blocks. Only my opinion. Can't wait to see the finished product.

I see what you mean. 2 is seems a bit stark in the posted picture, more so than 4, I think because the lightest fabric in 4 is closer in value to the center where in 2 the lightsest fabric besides the center is more of a medium tone. Can you lay them out with the boarder fabric around them? And can you purchase any more of the boarder fabric. I was going to suggest useing it in one or two blocks you still have to piece maybe in the triangle piecings to add variety where it is used, much like another poster suggested. Since it is the fabric the bride picked I would definely keep it. If the same fabric is not available perhaps you could find fabric matching the lighter shade(s) and use it as some of the corner sq. or hst piecing in blocks still to be made. I think if there is either more of it scattered in a couple more blocks or something similar it will seem less like the lone ranger. Your block are all beautiful.
