Default Weekend Project - Embroidered Scripture Quilt

This was a fast weekend project a very ill QB friend. The idea was to "cover her with prayer". Each block is embroidered with a different inspirational quote from Scripture. It was put together very simply with stitch in the ditch and at the last minute I decided to add some lace hem tape to break up the white. In the interest of speed, the binding was a fold-over of the backing. I am hoping that one day I'll have time to make a much larger one as a raffle item for my church - perhaps with stippling next time.

How very sweet! I love the idea of being covered with prayer. I like it! I'm sure the recipient will as well.
