I haven't ventured into applique or even curves, newbie here, but these vibrant colored quilts could easily intice me, wowie. Please post when you finish.

Wow -what a gift of spring to us here. We're awaiting another round of white stuff so I do appreciate your lovely quilts. Can you share the pattern source for the second one with us? Thanks.

Love the string quilt.. Did you use a pattern or is it your design? Really good use of scraps.

The pattern is My Whimsical Quilt Garden by Becky Goldsmith and Linda Jenkins. The scrappy is based on a picture I saw of a string quilt. Just made up the dimensions myself. 6 1/2" unfinished string blocks, nine patch from 1 1/2" strips, sashing from three 1 1/2 " strips sewn into set then cut to 6 1/2".
