It's so pretty and it has cat approval as well. I'm sure it will help her headaches, they can be brutal.

I love yours! I just finished one for a friend that has Fibro-Myalgia, but I didn't piece it. I used a solid piece of minkee and a solid piece of flannel for the back. I like the pieced look. And I love the cat. Hope it helps your SIL!

If you go to www.mansewing.com he has a tutorial on making a weighted blanket. You will find it under the Blog tab and then around the 7th or 8th page.

That is how I've done weighted quilts for autistic kids. Yes, very awkward, I used my big dinning room table and a card table to the side of me to carry the weight as I stitched.
