Default Well, at least it got started!

Posted a little while back about these squares, which were not quite squares, and I pondered how to make them work. As usual the board had plenty of great ideas!
I ended up cutting a 6.5" square out of the middle of a sheet of paper and just 'fussy cutting' the printed blocks as best I could to center them.
After that, it too me way too long to draft the pieces... then figure out an easier way, heh. I was going to do several different types of stars, then decided I liked the idea of using the same one reversed. First time I've done this kind of pieced block so I'm pretty happy it came reasonably well! Thanks again to the board for helping me think things through!

I love those reversed star blocks...I did a civil war quilt for a friend and used this method...it turned out great!

Well done. So glad you were able to work out a simpler way to do them for the next ones.

Love the start you made with the blocks. They are cute!

That is one of my favorites blocks. I'm going to use your concept of "same one reversed" when I accidentally reverse a block.

Love those blocks, especially the one on the left. It's so bright.

Exactly, let's call it a 'happy accident'! Mine was! After I reached for the seam ripper, I took a second look - and liked it! This one is only going to be a table runner so hopefully quickly done.
