Each HST is 2" finished. The squares started as 3" ones and I trimmed to 2.5" after making the HST. The quilt is 16 units x 20 units...I used a little over 300 HSTs. Hope that helps you.

I love it and I think a solid'ish blue border about 6 inches would be perfect.

I love what you're doing with your HST's. I think you should put on a small white border & then a larger dark border.

I'm in love. I have got to make a quilt like this. But I realized I have only colored fabric in my stash. I don't have any whites or off whites. Hmmm..... Need ot shop again. DH will not be happy. :)

Oh Thank you for this great idea. Yours is really pretty. I have been thinking what on earth am i gonna do with all my scraps. i think i have enough to make 10 or more. I have bins of scraps. haha I love yours.
