Sometimes I use a Warm Wishes kind of pattern for large prints...only I use five strip blocks between. I'll attach a photo.

The duckies are the same fabric I made one of our shower curtains and curtain for one of our bathrooms out of. Fell in love with it.

Beautiful. Just what I was thinking - using bigger pieces in your quilt.

The duck fabric is so cute. I think I would treat it like a pre-printed panel and just put a yellow border on it. I would then sew around the ducks to quilt it.

The ducks would make a great border for a duck centered quilt and/or backing. The bears, I'd cut in big squares with coordinating fleece and make a no tie quilt (like a rag quilt but with fleece). If you think it really should be covered on the back then you can make a tie blanket with it, put flannel on the back, use it as backing to bibs, or make childrens scarves.

I like the 8" sq with the border of choice to separate them. Using the colors in the duck fabric. It would be darling for a baby as they love color. So why do we make them in pastels? When they are drawn to the colors.

Love the ducks, if you don't want to cut them up, use as backing.
