Really cute! I've done a few crafty sewing things with my GD, it's so much fun. They are soo good at these things! I hope they continue to remain interested.

What a cute baby quilt! I also have a 6 year old DGD who likes to sew. When she comes she asks what she can make this time. We have made a doll blanket, tooth pillow (she puts her tooth in for the tooth fairy) and last time the tube pillow case. Not sure what we will do the next time she asks because she sews for a while but then wants to do something else. But she sure is proud when she's done.

Great idea about the tooth pillow!!! Will be one of my next projects with her and I suppose her brother (9) will want to make one too. Thanks for sharing!!!

That is a great story.
I hope you plant a seed for later times for her.

I have so many fond memories being with my grandma doing these things. I helped her tie a quilt, she taught me to embroider, crochet, and tat.
