I tried to read through all the comments before I bothered you...I just love this star within a star, and I'd like to know where to get the pattern. I apologize if you've already posted an answer and I missed it.

I searched through my laptop for this pattern and seem to think I printed it direct from a website...but can't remember where sorry :roll: :oops: :D

I am working on one now has over hummm cant remember but thousands of pieces 1.5 x 1.5 in and 1.5 x 2 in. It is called a friendship quilt.... If you use all scrappy except a certain part of the blk it comes out looking like a mini irish chain. One of my friends has made 2 of them already.... I have over 1200 pcs already cut and still cutting....

WOW I would LOVE to see it, have you posted pictures yet? As I haven't been able to play much here just recently, if so can you please post me a link to it?? :D :D :D

Genious at work here! Love your blocks Izy, especially the tulip and that wonderful star that looks like it's exploding. What a beautiful quilt they will make.
