I have been watching all of your blocks.. they do look good.
    Question
how are you going to put them together?

I put 2 blocks right sides together, put 2 1/2 inch strip (folded... all raw edges together) and sew 1/2 inch seam... trim seam allowance and open blocks and press strip across seam .. of course this is on back side... and hand stitch it down. May not be the best method but that is how I am doing it.

Like the way you stitched around it.

Beautiful!! Love the scalloped edges!! I have a Deco340, so it uses EXP-files .
