It looks great. My friend and I did that with all of our fabrics as well. We made strips of all of our fabrics that was not dedicated to something and we made one like that. It was alot of fun to do and it is amazing how well it looks even when nothing matches.

No, I have a back and batting for a quilt as you go. When the blocks are .sewn together it will be finished!
