I have never seen anything like these. You must have nerves of steel and eyesight of a hawk. I would be blind after all that needle work. Wonderful job.

Like OMG! I, too, did counted cross stitch before I took up quilting but nothing as fabulous as what you've done.
They are so beautiful! You have some wonderul pieces. I especially love the tree with Santa and the angels.

Absolutely gorgeous!!!!! I work with a woman that does beautiful work like this. I am in total AWE of everything that she does. Thank you for sharing. Beautifully done--each and every one of them!!!!!!!

I've never tried it before, but I'll bet it could be done. Perhaps use the cross stitch as a center part of the quilt and frame it, perhaps useing muslin or a nice piece of cotton for the backing of the cross stitch piece and make whatever blocks areound it. I don't think I would wash it though, might cause the cross stitch to draw up.
I'll bet someone on this board knows that answer or has tried it before. So many smart folks on this board with great ideas and knowledge.
