Lovely works of art! You are a master. I used to do cross stitch before I found quilting, but as the x's got smaller and smaller, the quilt pieces seemed so much easier to see--

I found the patterns last night. Here they are:

Santa with wreath - Lavendar & Lace (L&L) "Gift of Peace"
Santa with animals - L&L "Santa of the Forest
Santa with Angels - L&L "Song of Christmas"
Angel with purple gown - The Gold Collection "Innocent Guardian"

I have been wearing glasses since the 4th or 5th grade so I am pretty blind at a distance. However, I have excellent near sight. In fact that is why I refuse to have laser eye surgery because I have heard you lose your near sight. I am still doing some. I have a Christmas stocking in the works right now. (Well I worked on it a few times a few years ago, so I guess you could call that in the works.)

BTW, I do all of my cross stitch on linen. I use the 28 or higher count and go over two. I make sure the weave is fairly even. But the linen is very hard to find any more.

Those are just about as beautiful as anything i have ever seen. How in the world do you see well enough to do those little stitch counts.

Cross stitching was my hobby of choice before quilting...unfortuneately most of the ones I finished have gone as gifts...I still pick it up in the evening sometimes and complete a few stitches...LOVE your projects ...very pretty.

One winter I decided to do an adorable Christmas Cats cross stitch. I got crosser and crosser! I couldn't figure out how you know where to start. You must have infinite patience.
