Default What I did with the "I Spy" idea

Some weeks ago I asked for ideas for using some donated fabric that had a young girl theme. I found a pattern called I Spy that is different from the usual ones. It turned out to be much harder than I had expected, as the image in the magnifying glass is supposed to be embedded - and "popping" from - the background...and even after hours in the large local fabric store it didn't really work. But I went ahead, as this is a charity quilt for children with cancer, and I think she will enjoy anything comforting she can get!

Clever idea, but I can see how finding the perfect fabrics would be difficult.

Love your choice of fabric and I think you really did a great job on it. It's a very fun quilt and the young lady who receives this will be so thrilled with it!
