Someone suggested a Carpenter's Star and the lightbulb went on in my head! The Carpenter's Star has been on my bucket list, so I decided to do a scrappy one with my "leftovers"!

So, I threw this together this afternoon. The blocks aren't sewn together, yet...this is just them on my design wall.

I think it's going to be a baby quilt, so will wait to add the border. When I find out it's for a girl, I'll do a pink border and if it is to be for a boy, I'll add a blue border.

I know it's not real "cutesy" like most baby quilts, but do you think it's okay for a baby quilt?

How creative! I think it would be a great baby quilt and one that will grow with them.

The parents will love this. This will be there as the baby grows. Wonderful use of scraps
