Holiday table runner and wall hanging
#1
Just finished a few more projects. I wanted to get double duty from the table runners so I used prints I liked and had around in my stash.
My favorite is the wall hanging called Gathering At The Stables by Springs Creative. You can find this at Fabric Depot or ebay.
I put a rod pocket on the back, used a brown paisley print (which you could hardly even see where I ran a seam down the middle- these prints are great for that!) and used Coats and Clark transparent nylon thread. I was a bit surprised it was easy to work with and the thread did not break or melt under the light. I found a remnent for the binding and was done in no time. I enjoy working on panels because they are a ready, set, go type project that takes little time to complete.
