I got this quilt top put together for my friend thas has been so sick. She has been in the hospital and now the rehab center for over five months.

We thought we were losing her two times. She had a simpe surgery that went bad, really bad. She had sepsis twice and is now learning to walk again.

Some of these blocks are as old as our oldest children, 43. She had bought some material to make the other blocks but did not get it done. I made them while down here and then had to make them all the same size as not any of the ones her hubby gave me were. It is the best I could do with the blocks that I had.

I need to clean it up and then sandwich and will be ready to quilt. I am going to quilt simple as it seems to be a lot to look at any way.

Linda

Very pretty. She should love this and with vibrant colors should cheer her up. I wish your friend healing; sounds like she is a fighter.

How thoughtful of you. I'm sure she will feel
all the love you put in it and take comfort from it.

I think she'll love it and really cheer her up. It's nice to have friends like you. She'll be better soon with all the love around her.
