Dawn-now I know why I have not heard from you!! And after seeing this quilt, I know that I need to bow to greatness when we meet face to face!!! You are awesome!!!! That quilt is just breathtaking!!! Was this class at Quilts N Fixins?

Yes Marcia! It was at Quilts and Fixins... I called the other day to sign up for other classes. I am telling you it is worth the trip! We had people in that class all the way from Macon!

Dawn, I just have to say that you make WAY better use of your "spare" time than I do! It is really beautiful and someday I'd love to do one just like yours! Its sure an inspiration! grreat job! I know your daughter will love it!

I took the class May 18th. I left the class with the first 2 rows done. I left it alone until my daughter left for Hawaii on June 10th. Today being June 30th is is finished EXCEPT the borders. I have been working my job about 44 to 50 hours a week and I can NOT sew when I work my body is to exhausted and I screw up EVERYTHING!

So it went pretty fast .... If I do say sewwwww myself!

o and it is 49 rows down and I believe 35 rows across.
